Wilson Tanner’s 69 returns to Australian soil for a new season. A uniquely provincial take on ambient music

It follows from the London-based duo’s Ballads, a remarkable driftwerk released on A Colourful Storm in 2022.

Amazing ambient panoramas and acidic grooves from native Australians Bobby Bunnungurr, Jimmy Djamunba and Peter Milyaynga, with Victoria musician Peter Mumme; recorded and released in mid ‘90s, now surfacing on Sydney’s flawless Efficient Space label, who were behind the excellent ‘Sky Girl’ and ‘Oz Waves’ comps.
