That A-side is a straight-up bullet, whirling a carillon of glittering, rhythmelodic percussion, roto-toms and ruddiest, rocking bassline under glorious choral motifs with a momentum bound to sway the sweatiest basements and festival stages alike. ’Snake’ serves a scuzzier variation with beat-less keys and saltily stressed tones synched to sleigh bells for a perfectly seasonally-inappropriate sound of xmas in submerged summer.
