Rush Hour collate the various bits from their J Velez 12” series on two slices of wax...a previously undiscovered collection of raw as hell tape jams. Originally recorded between the period of 1996-1999 in Jersey City, Jorge Velez’s material connects the dots between the sub-aquatic funk of Drexciya and the more unhinged, extra-terrestrial evocations of the likes of Actress and much of the material coming out from the L.I.E.S. camp (some of you may know Velez from his L.I.E.S. released Professor Genius alias). Highly recommended.
