Keita Sano – Legacy From Leyton EP
ROW 014
Crankiest industrial-electro mutations from East London via Okayama, Japan, rinsed with trilling drums and nagging textures plus a grubby Dayzero remix.
The five tracks exercise a murky club imagination ripe for the ruder ‘floors. ‘For Ultra Listening Enjoyment’ coaxes the us into his mode like a mutant Black Zone Myth Chant work, before really getting down with the rusty, whirring techno cogs of ‘Blur ceramics’, and flaying dancers meat from bones like a Tsuzing-er on ‘Inner Hall.’ The gnashing rotor rhythms of ‘Legacy from Leyton’ trace influence from east London grime and mutant warehouse pressure to somewhere close to Svbkvlt styles, and the Dayzero’s remix gives its flesh an extra wobble in the bashment flavoured flip.
